Yesterday, I was able to enjoy a much needed afternoon out while Anthony stayed home with the kids. I went wine tasting with my friend Casey (the crazy girl that talked me into moving across the country to California with her ten years ago) and her husband as well as 2 other friends. I liken the experience to adult trick-or-treating. As usual, we had a blast. I had taken many photos but unfortunately most involved closed eyes or decapitated subjects (don't worry...their heads weren't really cut off, only in the photo.) Here's what I was left with.

And we're calling this lunch! Our great intentions of "just grabbing a sandwich at one of the wineries" quickly turned into this miscellaneous plate of wine munchies that were our only sustenance for the day. (Peanuts that tasted like Doritos, crackers, hard salami, various cheeses and some darn yummy Honey Mustard potato chips)
